ERASMUS+ YOUTH EXCHANGE

Think green

Four organizations from different countries work together on the exchange of 24 young people from 17 to 30 years of age who want to stimulate positive change in the local community.

By implementing this project we wanted to raise awareness amongst youth about protection of environment and sustainable development and steer them into discovering for themselves alternative green ways in which they can take the power of knowledge into their own hands and influence people in their close surroundings, starting from their home and peers towards the local community in general. By transferring knowledge, learning and research they  covered the topics of soil, air and water pollution, environmental impact on human health, nature and environmental policies implemented in their local communities with bad and praiseworthy examples, landfill problems and recycling, climate change, but above all with the emphasis on the positive side, with topics on sustainable development, renewable energy, designing and developing ideas for future eco-projects, examples of self-sustainable ecological farms, opportunities to turn waste into artwork and so on.
